Fuel quantity reset

Post by owenpa28 » November 12th, 2016, 2:24 pm

Hello

I am wondering if it is possible to have my Virtual Airlines fuel quantities reset. The reason for this is because we have an unrealistic amount of AVGAS. The avgas that we have ive calculated at the rate we are burning it. The fuel will last 3 years. I have recently made it the responsibility for one of my pilots to maintain fleet and fill up the fuel quantities within the airline. We cannot possibly manage the fuel level with an unrealistic fuel quantity. Obviously we had misunderstood the fuel purchasing system and bought way to much.

Hello Owen,

Can you confirm that you want your available fuel, removed from the VA? What about the money? Because the fuel prices are calculated daily, you may actually be losing money, as such, I need you to acknowledge that you are aware of that as well. Also, do you just need the AVGAS reset, or both, JET-A and AVGAS?

I am more than willing to oblige, but some things are not reversible, so I want to make sure you get what you're asking for, and only what you're asking for. :ugeek:

Hello

Thank you for your reply. I would like both Avgas and JetA1 reset please. I really am not worried about the money. Myself and my new fleet manager want to run some tests on fuel levels over time so that we can make an excel speed sheet and upload it to the site. But we can't start our tests until we have realistic fuel levels. So I am asking you to reset both fuel types to absolute zero.

Many thanks for your time.

You are all set! Both AVGAS and Jet-A have been set to zero (0). Let us know if there is anything else you need. :ugeek:

Hello again

i have seen the values set to Zero, this was great. i have some issues now. i bought 1,000,000 of Jet-A1 and 1,000 of avgas. when a jet completed a flighted we ended up with 1,500,000 of Jet-A1, then 10 minutes later 500,000 of Jet-A1, then when another flight was completed we ended up with 750,000 of Jet-A1, i was confused how we ended up gaining fuel then loosing it then gaining it again. then i had completed a flight in a propeller plane. we started with 1,000 avgas now after the flight we have 36,000. now i am even more confused.

Please help. Why are we gaining fuel when we complete flights? This does not make sense. Am I not seeing the obvious.

Hello

I am wondering if we have any updates on this. Is this problem with my Airline only or is it a thing for every one at the moment.

Hello Owen,

This is an issue with the system, not your airline. Still awaiting Mike's input. Sorry for the delay, but I will report back as soon as I hear something.

This is a known bug. I will look at it later this weekend to see if it can be quickly fixed.
